Social Marketing Seminar

It has been confirmed that Patrick will run a seminar for the Market Research Society on the subject of Social Marketing.

 

The seminar will look at the theories, tools and techniques behind effective social marketing and will be illustrated with numerous examples of its effective application.

 

Patrick said, “I’m delighted to say that this seminar has been confirmed. The aim is to give participants a solid introduction to the basics of social marketing and how it can be used to benefit the public and improve people’s welfare and quality of life.”

 

This will be a ‘breakfast meeting’ which will be held in London from 8.30 to 10.30 on Tuesday 1st December. We will give more details on this site when we have them.

British Psychological Society Talk

August 2009

It has been announced that Patrick is to give a talk next month on the Principles of Success at an event organised by the British Psychological Society.

 

The presentation will look at the five key principles of achieving personal and professional success and at the scientific psychology literature which supports these principles.

 

He said, “The talk will look at how to be successful individually and at how to create successful organisations. I have been privileged to work with many of the world’s most successful companies and individuals and seen the principles work at first hand.”

 

This free public event takes place at 6.30 pm on Wednesday 23rd September at the University of Winchester. Booking is necessary as places are limited. To book a place, or for more information, please e-mail wessex@bps.org.uk.

Patrick is now on Twitter, the social networking and micro-blogging service. He has the username 'patrickwjordan'.

 

He said, “Twitter is a great application for letting people know what you are doing, sharing your thoughts and raising questions. I hope that my posts will raise some issues that will be of interest and look forward to readers’ comments and contributions.”
