A video of Patrick’s talk on successful innovation has been posted online on YouTube. The video is of his talk in Monterrey, Mexico in November 2009 in front of an audience of 2000 people.

 

Patrick said, “It’s great that the organizers have made the video publicly available. It was an excellent event and I was delighted to have been asked to speak. I hope people will enjoy watching the video and listening to the talk.”

Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Talk

June 2010

It has been confirmed that Patrick will be speaking at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) later this year. The event, which is being organised by the Sussex branch, will take place in September.

 

Patrick will be talking about The Principles of Success.

 

He said, “I am very much looking forward to this event. We will be looking at the findings from positive psychology about how to be successful and fulfilled in all areas of life, but with particular emphasis on work and career.”

Radio Documentaries

June 2010

Patrick is to make a further series of four documentaries for 10 Radio. The documentaries will cover a number of topics associated with personal and professional development.

 

One will focus on how to manage your image in order to make a good impression, while another will focus on Neuro-Linguistic Programming and other self-help techniques. The topics of the other two are yet to be decided.

 

The programs will be recorded on 16 June 2010 and will include discussions and pre-recorded interviews with experts in the field. We will post transmission dates on this site when we have them.

Educational Psychology Workshops

June 2010

Patrick will be running two workshops on the Principles of Success for Educational Psychologists later this year. The workshops will form part of the annual conference organised by a UK-based education authority.

 

He said, “I am very much looking forward to this event and to meeting those responsible for helping to provide excellent education in our schools.”

 

Patrick has previously acted as a government advisor on education and a number of other issues, including health, business and transportation.
