Workplace Ergonomics and Productivity Conference, 26+27 Oct. 2011

Patrick will be an invited speaker at the inaugural Workplace Ergonomics and Productivity conference and exhibition which will be held in London on 26 and 27 October 2011.
Patrick’s talk will focus on the psychosocial aspects of ergonomics and productivity.
He said, “The physical environment that people work in is very important in terms of helping them to be productive and avoid work-related injuries. However, evidence suggests that the social and psychological aspects of the environment are even more important.”
“If people feel valued in their workplace and enjoy coming to work they will be more productive, less stressed and less likely to take time off due to illness.”

Institute of Consultants Seminar, 11 October 2011

We now have further details of Patrick's talk to the Institute of Consultants on the subject of happiness and motivation in the workplace.
The talk will examine the social and psychological factors which influence people’s wellbeing at work and look at how this influences quality and productivity.

Principles of Success Talk, Positive Living Group, 27 September 2011

Patrick will be giving a talk on the Principles of Success at the Positive Living Group in Lymington, UK on 27 September 2011.
The event will start at 7.15 pm and entrance costs £ 5 on the door.
In the talk, Patrick will look at the findings of positive psychology and the how we can apply them to achieve success, happiness and fulfilment in all areas of our professional and personal lives.
He said, “Positive psychology has a great deal to tell us about how to live well and work well. The aim of the talk is to deliver the findings of positive psychology in the form of five well defined and easy to apply principles that we can start applying straight away.”

Master's in Business Innovation, CEDIM, Mexico, Nov + Dec 2011

It has been confirmed that in November and December Patrick will return to CEDIM in Mexico to give another course on branding, which forms part of the Master’s in Business Innovation program.
These will be Patrick's fifth and sixth visits to CEDIM this year and his third course on branding.
He said, “ I am very much looking forward to returning to CEDIM later this year. The MBI course is excellent and gives the participants exactly what they need to succeed in the business world."
